Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Jotlift. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service description
Jotlift is a fitness and training application that helps athletes, trainees, and trainers record workouts, track progress, manage clients, and use coaching tools. Features may include workout logging, templates, rest timers, heart-rate integrations (including Apple Watch and HealthKit), Live Activities, subscriptions, and trainer–client workflows.
2. Account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and maintain one account per person. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may sign in with email and password or, where offered, with Apple or Google.
3. Acceptance
By registering, signing in, or using Jotlift you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
4. Subscriptions, auto-renewal, and cancellation
Paid plans may be offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe. The store or payment provider’s terms also apply to those purchases.
Trainee mobile plans (PRO / PRO MAX): Purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal. On Apple devices, manage or cancel under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, use Google Play → Subscriptions. Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Trainer platform plans: Billed monthly through Stripe on the trainer dashboard. Subscriptions auto-renew each billing period until cancelled. A 14-day trial may apply when you first have an active client; if no valid payment method is on file, the subscription may end when the trial ends. Cancel or update billing through Manage subscription in the dashboard billing portal, or contact support@jotlift.com.
Price changes: We may change subscription prices where permitted by law and platform rules. We will provide notice as required.
Refunds: Governed by Apple, Google, Stripe, and applicable consumer law (including Japanese consumer rules where applicable). We do not guarantee refunds outside those rules.
5. Trainer–client relationships
Trainers are responsible for their own agreements with clients. Jotlift is a tool for coaching and training management and is not a party to coaching contracts between trainers and clients.
6. User content
You may submit workouts, notes, photos, and videos. You grant us a license to host, process, and display this content solely to operate and improve the service. You must not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
7. Health disclaimer
Jotlift is not medical advice. Consult qualified professionals before starting or changing exercise programs. Heart-rate, HealthKit, Apple Watch, and rest-timer features are informational and may be inaccurate; use them at your own risk.
8. Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including beta functionality, with or without notice where permitted by law.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the service or others. You may delete your account at any time through the app or dashboard settings.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jotlift and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you use a free plan.
11. Third-party platforms
Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, in-app purchases, and payment processing are provided by third parties. Their terms and privacy policies apply to those flows in addition to these Terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer laws apply (including the Japanese Consumer Contract Act where applicable).
